You’ve probably seen the Bay Area Chamber team out and about—big scissors in hand, grinning next to bright-eyed new business owners at ribbon cuttings. And yes, we love welcoming new businesses to the community. But did you know we also celebrate our business legends?
That’s right—our Heritage Business Award honors those who’ve been serving this community for 50 years or more. We recently gave this award to the City of Coos Bay for its 150th birthday, and we partied with NW Natural when they hit 165! We helped Farr’s hardware celebrate their 108th birthday, and Englund Marine turning 80, and LTOB turning 100! These aren’t just anniversaries—they’re milestones worth a standing ovation (and maybe a slice of cake).
And for those businesses hitting 20 years or more—we see you too! You’ve weathered storms, recessions, and trends like frosted tips and fidget spinners. Your longevity deserves recognition, celebration, and maybe even a ribbon cutting of your own.
We’re not just about networking and legislative advocacy—though we do a lot of that too. We’re your Chamber, and we’re in the business of celebration. Whether you’re brand new or business royalty, we want to cheer you on.
