Happy March Everyone, We were blessed as an area to host again the 3A Basketball tournament last weekend. Many of our local businesses displayed their favorite Teams and or support for 3a Basketball with window displays, 3a basketball brings visitors and a boost for our economy every year. I saw the Amity school bus park right in front of the Chamber office and they all exited the bus to go check out the Display at H&R Block which housed their Amity Team display, I was able to go out and welcome them; They were so jazzed about all the window displays they were seeing in town. Great Job being such great hosts and really showing everyone who doesn’t live here just how hospitable Coos Bay, North Bend, and Charleston can be! I Saw smiles all around from the visiting people wandering by the office all week long. Here are some upcoming events from your Chamber office. March 20th WBC Wednesday Business Connection Luncheon presents: Update from the Chamber: A Season for Change, Wed 11:30 – 1pm Mill Casino Salmon Room; March 27 WBC Wednesday Business Connection Lunch presents: Kids Hope Center Julie Marshall kicks off the Pinwheel campaign for April 11:30am – 1pm Mill Casino Salmon Room; March 28th Thursday Business After Hours: Yappy Hour Dog Treats in the Pony Village Mall: 5pm -7pm Bring your dogs and let them Paint!
